Job summary

Luminator Technology Group is seeking a Lead Aerospace Certification Engineer to drive certification and regulatory compliance for aircraft lighting and software-controlled systems. The role is based on our Plano, TX campus and involves coordinating DO-160 testing, developing qualification plans, and guiding cross-functional teams through certification milestones.

Qualifications

7+ years in aerospace, avionics, or regulated product development.
Familiarity with FAA/EASA certification processes or compliance testing.
Experience with environmental testing (DO-160 or similar).
Strong technical writing and organizational skill.

Responsibilities

Lead certification planning and execution for aircraft lighting and control systems.
Prepare compliance documentation, qualification test plans, procedures, and reports.
Coordinate environmental qualification testing (DO-160) and photometric performance.
Oversee onsite engineering test laboratories, including test readiness and lab compliance.
Contribute to system safety analyses and installation approvals.
Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and regulatory representatives.
Participate in certification reviews, audits, and test events.
