Job summary

SkyChefs in Las Vegas seeks a Food Operations Supervisor to keep the kitchen running smoothly, lead a hands-on team, and ensure meals are prepared to exacting standards for flights. You’ll manage staffing, supplies, and timing to prevent delays and maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll drive continuous improvement, enforce HACCP and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with production leads and warehouse teams to optimize schedules, labor, and costs while

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in food production or meal prep facilities.
• Hands-on management style with ability to coach on the floor.
• Strong scheduling, inventory, labor planning, and production flow skills.
• Experience in airline catering, meal kit production, or large-scale food operations preferred.
• Familiarity with HACCP, OSHA, USDA, FDA, and allergen control protocols.
• Experience supervising in a unionized environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to meet and exceed performance goals (team includes leads and runners across hot and cold food prep).
• Drive production excellence to ensure meals are prepped, portioned, and assembled to gold standard specifications (FIFO, allergen control, HACCP checks).
• Drive process improvements, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, OSHA, USDA, etc.).
• Optimize labor schedules, productivity, and costs in a fast-paced production setting.
• Lead daily team meetings to align on performance and safety objectives.
• Collaborate with supervisors, production leads, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
