Menzies Aviation is hiring a Warehouse Agent in Rockford, IL. The role involves receiving/shipping and handling e-commerce parcels inside the cargo warehouse, possibly airside or landside, and operating small vehicles. Heavy lifting is required and the position pays $19–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Handles parcels through the parcel handling system, by introducing parcels through the roller system and x-ray units.
• Inspects the cargo at the time of acceptance for signs of tampering, damage, or pilferage.
• Reports any irregularities to the management team.
• Transfers freight from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas with forklift or hand truck.
• Weighs and counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards and air waybill.
• Performs cargo build-up and/or breakdown to and/or from skid, pallets or ULDs.
• Screen cargo through physical search and X-ray screening.
