Job summary

Talentify in Georgetown, SC is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage core accounting with QuickBooks and support inventory control within a Part 145 maintenance environment.

This contract-to-hire role combines traditional bookkeeping with hands-on purchasing, vendor records, payroll support, and financial reporting to guide business decisions.

You will work onsite in an office adjacent to hangar operations, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with management.

Qualifications

• Versatile bookkeeping experience, preferably in maintenance environments subject to Part 145 regulations.
• Ability to manage AP/AR, invoicing and payroll support.
• Experience generating financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flows).
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Process accounts payable and vendor records.
• Process accounts receivable, invoices, and payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Support bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Produce financial reports to aid decision-making.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with Part 145 financial regulations.
• Monitor expenses and revenues with proper categorization.
• Collaborate with management on financial insights.
