Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Mission Systems Software Engineer to build software that enables autonomous aviation across airborne, ground, and cloud systems. You will develop, debug, and deploy software spanning embedded systems, Linux platform software, and application layers to support efficient operations and maintenance of the autonomy platform.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years systems-level programming experience in Rust and/or C++.
  • Experience working in environments where software is deployed and used on a daily basis in production.

Responsibilities

  • Define the architecture of the airborne, ground, and cloud systems that support aircraft communications, fleet operations, and data management
  • Develop, debug, and deploy software across the entire stack, from embedded systems and Linux platform software up to the application layer
  • Drive integration of complex third-party hardware and software systems into the Reliable Robotics autonomy platform
  • Ensure high performance and reliability of software systems that will be used on a daily basis in both R&D and production environments
