Job summary

Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing aviation technology. You will contribute to the embedded systems stack, developing low-level software and firmware that enable autonomy in aircraft.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will design and implement flight software, work on bare-metal initialization, networking, and protocol drivers, and support CI infrastructure for automated testing and deployment. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or equivalent
• 3+ years of professional experience in C/C++
• Experience developing software for embedded, high-performance, or safety-critical applications

Responsibilities

• Develop C/C++ flight software requirements, design, code, unit tests, and test cases per DO-178C processes
• Work on bare-metal OS and hardware initialization, networking, protocol drivers, and memory interfaces
• Develop Python-based software integration test cases
• Develop and maintain CI infrastructure for automating software integration, build, testing, and deployment
