Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston in North Carolina is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the Operations team. You will perform assembly on electronic and mechanical subassemblies, using diagrams, tools, and precision measuring devices. Training to MVP qualification and involvement in process improvements are available.

Minimum 2 years in aviation production with drilling/torquing tools experience; high school diploma required. SAP and Excel knowledge preferred; overtime and all shifts possible.

Qualifications

• 2 years' minimum experience in aviation production.
• Experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torquing tools.
• Ability to work any shift including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly operations on electronic and mechanical subassemblies.
• Read diagrams, use hand/power tools, measure with precision instruments, and inspect work.
• Train to become MVP qualified and participate in process improvements.
