Job summary

Kalitta Air in Oscoda, Michigan, seeks an Apprentice Program Manager to lead the USDOL-approved apprentice initiative and direct training quality. You will set policies, schedule required coursework, and maintain program documentation to ensure compliance and successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage Apprentice Program processes; identify improvements for policy and procedure changes.
• Develop and maintain a training schedule ensuring apprentices receive required training and certifications.
• Maintain the Kalitta Air Apprentice Program Manual information.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to address apprenticeship training needs.
• Ensure adequate apprentice records are established and maintained.
• Coordinate with OJT and Instruction/Development teams to evaluate classroom and practical instruction.
• Analyze apprentice courses for effectiveness and applicability to policies.
• Interface with USDOL, Michigan Works, FAA and other agencies for services and funding.
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum effectiveness and outcomes.
• Oversee all aspects of Kalitta Air, LLC U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program and RAPIDS data.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technical Training.
