Job summary

SteerBridge seeks a Product Designer to join the Experience Design team, supporting the Aviation Tech product AIRES. You’ll create high‑fidelity UI prototypes in Figma, maintain the design system, and translate research, workflows, and technical requirements into production‑ready experiences.

You will collaborate with a small team, mentors, researchers, engineers, and aviation experts to deliver data‑driven interfaces that support readiness, logistics, and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years UI/product design experience; strong portfolio required.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI craft and design system work.

Responsibilities

• Design high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and production-ready interfaces.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system with tokens and components.
• Annotate handoff specs for engineers and ensure QA against Figma specs.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, data teams, and stakeholders for feasible designs.
• Participate in design reviews and iterate based on feedback.
