Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a Senior Product Designer II to lead design across multiple product areas within Global Aviation Data. This hands-on senior role requires writing production-quality front-end code and shipping end-to-end design solutions alongside engineers.

You will mentor other designers, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and use data and user feedback to iterate on complex workflows in aviation data tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years shipping complex digital products.
• Experience owning complex features from discovery to launch.
• History of shipping code as well as designs, with PRs and feedback from Eng.
• Fluency in at least one modern stack (React/TypeScript/Angular/SwiftUI).
• Experience with AI tools and exploring new ones.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for complex product areas end to end across multiple teams.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear design direction.
• Design surfaces used by experts to review, correct, and approve.
• Write and ship production-quality front-end code against the codebase.
• Conduct discovery and research with future users.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to frame problems and tradeoffs.
• Own adoption and training for new tools cross-functionally.
• Mentor designers and raise craft through feedback.
• Measure design feedback and iterate with data and user input.
