Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. is seeking a UX Researcher to support a mission‑critical Defense Aviation platform used by federal customers. You will study aviation readiness and sustainment workflows and translate insights into usable product experiences.

You will work with designers, engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to ensure fleet readiness, maintenance planning, logistics coordination, and operational decision‑making are well supported through research‑driven design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional UX research experience in software product development.
• Ability to analyze complex operational environments and translate findings into actionable product requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with stakeholders across technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research for aviation platform.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights for product and design decisions.
• Develop personas, journey maps, and workflow models to guide design.
• Translate research into wireframes, prototypes, and concepts for implementation.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and Product Owners to align user needs with system constraints.
• Support design reviews and design‑to‑development handoffs with clear documentation.
