Job summary

Archer in the United Kingdom is seeking a UX Product Designer to own end-to-end design for consumer aviation apps on iOS, Android, and supporting web platforms. You will craft intuitive experiences for pilots, flyers, and enthusiasts, translating loosely defined problems into tangible solutions that teams can ship.

You'll work with design leadership, PMs, and engineers, use data to drive decisions, and iterate after launch based on analytics, experiments, and user feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience.
• Shipped consumer mobile apps on iOS/Android at startups or big tech.
• Live products in users' hands; explain decisions.
• Deep fluency in iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material.
• Experience using data and metrics to inform design.
• Portfolio demonstrating thinking beyond polished screens.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product design for consumer aviation apps on iOS and Android, along with supporting web platforms.
• Design for a wide range of users: casual flyers to pilots seeking fast, accurate info.
• Run product explorations, sketch directions, test with users, prune weak ideas.
• Own design leadership on your projects with input from Design Leadership, PM, and engineering.
• Ship to App Store and Google Play, then refine based on analytics and user research.
• Raise the bar on craft across the org through your work and peer feedback.
