Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Washer to support aircraft flightline, hangars and maintenance shops. You will operate ground support equipment and high-pressure wash systems, prepare aircraft for cleaning, and ensure protective coverings and vent areas are properly in place.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and at least three months of aviation maintenance or flightline experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English and follow verbal and written instruction.
• Capable of comprehending written and oral instructions for aircraft cleaning equipment use.
• Must meet Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate ground support equipment.
• Operate portable firefighting equipment.
• Assist in the movement of aircraft.
• Prepare aircraft for washing with vent areas taped and protective covers in place.
• Wash and rinse exterior and interior aircraft surfaces to remove grease, dirt, oil, fungus and stains.
• Use and maintain high-pressure wash system and perform pre/post wash lubrication as per procedures.
