Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Servicer to wash aircraft and components using a high-pressure system and to perform pre/post wash lubrication following established procedures.

The position requires stepping, lifting up to 70 pounds, and working around aircraft and ground support equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and aviation maintenance experience, with the ability to meet licensing requirements. Shift work and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) or more months aviation maintenance and/or flight line experience is required.
• Must be able to meet Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove protective covers.
• Move aircraft utilizing towing equipment.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Operate portable firefighting equipment.
• Prepare aircraft for washing by taping vent areas and placing protective covers.
• Wash and rinse external and internal surfaces of aircraft and components to remove grease, dirt, oil, fungus and stains.
• Use and maintain high-pressure wash system.
• Polish and clean windscreens/canopies with water, compounds, and cloth.
• Perform pre/post wash aircraft lubrication using established procedures.
• Comply with FOD, Hazardous Waste, and Tool Control programs.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations for the contract, facility, and job assignment.
• Utilize two-way communication equipment as required.
• Lead the team to complete aircraft wash, lube, and interior cleaning per orders and work cards.
• Assign tasks to Aircraft Servicers.
• Maintain aircraft forms and maintenance information system documentation.
• Perform other qualified duties as required.
