Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced aircraft mechanic to perform daily maintenance and inspections on assigned aircraft, using extensive airframe and powerplant knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and restore operation. You may lead teams on complex tasks and must prioritize workloads.

You will work under CBP clearance requirements, hold a high school diploma, and be proficient with manuals, logs, and MS Office applications. Expect potential travel to support customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current A&P license and be able to obtain CBP clearance.
• Broad knowledge of airframes, hydraulics, fuel systems and engines.
• Able to read and follow technical publications and logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections and fault isolation on aircraft systems.
• Lead teams on more complex aircraft tasks when required.
• Enter required data in aircraft logs and records and prioritize workload.
