Job summary

PeopleTec seeks an H-1 Aviation Subject Matter Expert to support our Huntsville, AL location. You will help develop and test AI training capabilities for the H-1 flight simulator, translating procedures into testable requirements and evaluating system performance from pilot and instructor perspectives. Willing to travel ~25% and obtain a Secret clearance.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with 8+ years of aviation experience and H-1 pilot qualifications.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant aviation experience.
Qualified H-1 pilot (AH-1Z or UH-1Y) with recent fleet experience.
Ability to travel approx. 25% and obtain Secret clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree preferred; military flight training and H-1 designation required.

Responsibilities

Define H-1 cockpit commands, terminology, procedures, and training requirements for AI system.
Develop and review training scenarios to reflect H-1 training requirements.
Evaluate AI-generated answers and voice-command behavior for accuracy and safety.
Operate the flight simulator during factory/on-site assessments and document deficiencies.
Provide speech data and instructor feedback to support model training and improvement.
Collaborate with engineers and customer personnel to refine system capabilities and materials.
