Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Software / Test Engineer II to plan, automate, and execute testing of an on-premise AI system for the H-1 flight simulator. You will evaluate releases, work with aviation SME and development teams, and help identify and resolve problems.

Duties include developing test plans, building automated tests, evaluating model performance, and troubleshooting. Must travel to integration/test events and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures, execute factory and on-site testing, and document results and deficiencies.
• Build and maintain automated tests for software, voice-command capabilities, and AI model performance, including regression testing.
• Evaluate model and system performance using controlled test data and approved measures, and compare new releases with prior versions.
• Troubleshoot problems, support technical reviews, and develop software fixes or test tools as needed.
