Job summary

Data Systems Analysts Inc. supports MIT Lincoln Lab with an AVEVA PI System-based program, ensuring continuous data flow for facilities and utilities while enabling advanced integration like AMI meters and BAS assets.

The role is hybrid, performing on-site work at Hanscom AFB (Lexington, MA) and remote tasks with up to 20% travel; training to expand functions is provided by DSA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AVEVA PI System experience with Data Archive, Asset Framework, Asset Analytics, and PI Vision.
• Associates degree in IT, Computer systems, or related field.
• AVEVA PI System Accreditation.
• Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Willingness to perform training programs and certifications.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.

This role provides Operations Technical Support to MIT Lincoln Lab. The program is built on the AVEVA PI System with additional 3rd party software and system integration. This role ensures that the facilities and utilities data associated with the program is able to flow continuously, while providing support for advanced functions such as integrating AMI meters and building automation system assets in PI Asset Framework. It provides IT System Administration support to ensure all application components remain online and healthy. The role will also support the transition of the PI System from physical to virtual hardware.

This role will be performed partially on-site at Hanscom Air Force Base (Lexington, MA) and partially remote. Some travel may be required. Travel is not to exceed 20% per year. Training to perform additional functions roles may be required and will be provided by DSA.

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System experience with Data Archive, Asset Framework, Asset Analytics, and PI Vision
• Associates degree in IT, Computer systems, or related field
• AVEVA PI System Accreditation
• Experience with Server/OS maintenance (patching, etc.,)
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Desire and ability to perform training programs and certifications to extend job functions

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Active Directory Security software
• Technical knowledge of networks, firewalls, OT-IT network segmentation, and related hardware and software
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience and/or certifications related to Microsoft Azure System Administration or Solution Design/Architecture
• Experience with integration of AMI (metering infrastructure) and/or utility billing systems to the AVEVA PI System
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC systems, or integration or building systems to the AVEVA PI System
• Scripting or software development experience (PowerShell, C#, Python, Web development are preferred)

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$100,000 - $150,000 USD
