Job summary

A&E Engineering, Inc. is seeking a mid-career engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy substantial portions of AVEVA MES projects under the guidance of the Technical Lead and Project Manager.

You will create design docs, work with a UI/UX designer, consultant, and customers, and ensure quality through testing and reviews. You will participate in deployments and startup activities, including on-site work to promote user adoption, and mentor junior engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AVEVA MES implementation and upgrades.
• Exposure to MOM technologies including automated data collection, historian applications, visualization, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Experience in MES implementations across 3–4 programs with full life cycle preferred.
• Exposure to shopfloor integration and Enterprise Integration.
• Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy significant portions of an AVEVA MES project under direction of Technical Lead and Project Manager.
• Create design documentation and collaborate with UI/UX Designer, consultant, and customers.
• Develop functionality to specifications efficiently and ensure solution quality through testing and code reviews.
• Participate in deployment and startup activities, including on-site work to ensure user adoption.
• Mentor younger team members as appropriate.
