Job summary

A&E Engineering, Inc. is seeking a mid-career engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy substantial portions of AVEVA MES projects under the guidance of the Technical Lead and Project Manager.

You will create design docs, work with a UI/UX designer, consultant, and customers, and ensure quality through testing and reviews. You will participate in deployments and startup activities, including on-site work to promote user adoption, and mentor junior engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AVEVA MES implementation and upgrades.
• Exposure to MOM technologies including automated data collection, historian applications, visualization, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Experience in MES implementations across 3–4 programs with full life cycle preferred.
• Exposure to shopfloor integration and Enterprise Integration.
• Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to mentor junior engineers.

Ensures quality of solution through testing and code reviews. Participates in deployment and startup activities, including on-site work to ensure user adoption. Mentors younger team members as appropriate.

• Hands on experience with implementation and upgrades on AVEVA MES.
• Exposure to MOM technologies including automated data collection historian applications visualization quality and efficiency in manufacturing SCADA automated decision control workflow database applications.
• Experience in MES implementations for at least 3 to 4 MES programs experience full life cycle preferred.
• Exposure to Shopfloor integration Enterprise Integration.
• Experience communication with both internal and external stackholders.
• Experience and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
