Job summary

RICEFW Technologies Inc seeks an experienced Telephony/UC Engineer to manage on-premises Avaya PBX, VoIP, and related voice systems in a scalable enterprise environment. You will design, deploy, and maintain telephony infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with vendors and teams to ensure service reliability.

The role requires strong knowledge of SIP/RTP/QoS, E911, PSTN integration, and a track record of improving operational efficiency and uptime.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience with Avaya on premise PBX systems.
2+ years of experience administering VoIP and unified communications platforms.
2+ years of experience with SIP, RTP, QoS, dial plans, call routing, and voice gateway technologies.
2+ years of experience troubleshooting voice quality, call routing, carrier connectivity, and E911 services.
2+ years of experience with telecommunications infrastructure, including voice circuits, session border controllers (SBCs), and PSTN integration.

Responsibilities

Provide operational and advanced telephony administration, including move/add/change and disconnect requests for voice and unified communications.
Lead for tasks required to maintain telephony network systems and implement improvements.
Provide engineering-level support for enterprise telephony network and unified communications; coordinate multi-team efforts to resolve outages.
Monitor systems and maintain documentation, diagrams, and adherence to IT incident and change processes.
