Job summary

LVC Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician in Minnesota to install, terminate, inspect, maintain, repair, service, pull wires and certify commercial AV systems. Initial onboarding requires joining IBEW 110 or 292.

Pay rate ranges from $40 to $53 per hour with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, FSA, LegalShield, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in electronics is preferred.
• Minimum of two years industry experience.
• A working knowledge of low voltage systems is required.
• MN PLT license.

Responsibilities

• Install electronic cable per specifications and NEC codes.
• Basic wiring and installation of hardware used in AV and sound systems.
• Operate cable testing equipment to ensure system performance.
• Plan and initiate projects.
• Install and service AV and sound systems.
• Understand electronic components and circuitry.
• Install pathways and spaces for low voltage wiring.
• Lay out and verify operation of AV and sound systems.
• Install communications and sound distribution systems.
• Meet all installation deadlines.
• Accurately track time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory.
• Comply with company and customer safety programs.
• Understand NFPA 72, NEC 70 and other codes.
• Maintain or obtain local licenses and/or required certifications.
