Job summary

4 PAIR COMMUNICATIONS LLC seeks an AV/LV Technician to install, set up, and maintain equipment on site in the NYC area. Responsibilities include pulling, terminating, testing, and labeling low-voltage cabling, and installing Audio-Visual, Telecommunications, and Security/Access Control Systems; travel within NY/NJ/CT with a valid driver's license is required.

The role is part-time, with pay between $27 and $30 per hour, and offers on-the-job training plus OSHA-30 certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Audio Visual Technician is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong understanding of the equipment.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to bend and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
• Ladder/Scaffold or Lift Work where required.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, test, label, and identify cabling on site.
• Receive deliveries, inventory on site, provide status updates to project team.
• Install TVs, Data Cabling, Speakers, Cameras, Screens, and Basic Troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report conditions to the team.
• Keep accurate records of equipment/cable/accessories inventory.
• Maintain a clean site/work area.
