Job summary

Tri-City Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking Audio/Visual Technicians to install and troubleshoot commercial AV systems on site. You will collaborate with estimators and project managers on custom installations and perform routine maintenance.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of related experience, completed AV training or apprenticeship, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work with low voltage 50V or less; drug screen and MVR check required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with commercial installation related to Audio Visual.
• Completed professional training in audio/visual certifications or equivalent apprenticeship (3-year Data or Telecommunications Electrical) preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to follow directions, climb a ladder, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
• Experience with fiber, cable pulling, etc. and low-voltage wiring (50V or less).

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot audio/visual systems.
• Perform repairs and routine cleaning of AV equipment.
• Work with estimators and project managers on custom installations.
