Job summary

Biamp is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to advise and assist customers with AV hardware and software. You will troubleshoot complex systems, analyze configurations, and provide design guidance for Biamp deployments.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, documentation, and ongoing learning in professional AV technologies, with travel up to 10% and collaboration across product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years related work experience in AV.
• 1+ years customer-facing support experience a plus.
• Experience with designing/troubleshooting networks and configuring switches.
• CTS certification or approved AV industry certification preferred.
• Familiarity with computer networking fundamentals; networking training a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment while maintaining detail.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
• Proficiency in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve AV hardware and software issues involving network connectivity.
• Provide design advice for AV systems utilizing Biamp products.
• Identify and elevate priority issues to Applications Engineers as needed.
• Document customer interactions in case-tracking software accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and trends.
