Schedule

• Must be on site for every hearing. Most weeks may not be every day, but SCC will need maintenance checks, etc.
• Average days on site per week will be around 3 days. Some weeks 40 hrs, some less; hours vary with the number of hearings.

About The Role

• Monitor and manage webcast of Commission hearings. Tasks include ensuring that streaming and audiovisual equipment function for live webcasts; cameras, microphones, and related equipment are appropriately documenting the hearing; live management of sound and video of webcast including camera selection; troubleshooting; managing virtual witnesses through Teams and by telephone.
• Hands‑on recent experience (within past two years) in broadcast studio work such as producing TV/radio news programs or multicamera presentations at complex events such as conferences; ability to follow basic elements of a hearing such as its beginning, ending, breaks and confidential sessions.
• Three to five years’ experience working with audiovisual equipment including microphones, video cameras, and broadcasting/webcasting software. The more experience in these areas the better but please make sure you highlight it on the resume!
