Loxo in Maryland is seeking an AV Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial AV systems across conference rooms and shared spaces. You will progress through Technical I/II/III levels based on experience, certifications, and ability to support increasingly complex environments.

Responsibilities include reactive service, preventive maintenance, firmware updates, and on-site customer communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform reactive break-fix service, preventative maintenance, and warranty support for commercial AV systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AV faults across control, audio, video, conferencing, DSP, switching, and network devices.
• Restore systems to operational status while meeting SLAs.
• Conduct firmware updates, software maintenance, and system health checks per manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Program adjustments and minor configuration changes to restore functionality.
• Complete service documentation including work performed, test results, and photos.
• Communicate status and next steps to customer stakeholders.
• Coordinate RMAs and vendor support when escalation is required.
• Verify system operation after repairs and perform functional testing.
• Maintain tools and service vehicle in a safe condition.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support.
• Maintain safety policies and site security compliance.
• Identify lifecycle upgrade opportunities and communicate recommendations to Service Manager.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls.
