Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking an AV Specialist to join our IT team in the DC metro area, including our Alexandria, VA location. You will resolve AV support requests, assist with secure AV solutions, and lead install/repair efforts with the End User Support Team.

Ideal candidates will have experience with VTC systems, Crestron/QSYS tools, and a willingness to travel regionally. Cooperative, security-conscious professionals are encouraged to apply; SPA offers a hybrid

Qualifications

• US citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting fully integrated VTC systems.
• Familiarity with Crestron Toolbox and/or QSYS Designer.
• Experience troubleshooting QSYS and Crestron AV systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma.
• Certifications from Crestron, QSC, Extron, Biamp or Shure (desired).
• Experience with USB bridging to AV for MS Teams or Zoom (desired).
• Experience troubleshooting audio in QSYS or TesiraForte (desired).

Responsibilities

• The AV Specialist will be the first point of contact to resolve AV support requests submitted through the corporate ticketing system.
• Work under the guidance of the AV Manager and IT Program Manager to implement and maintain secure AV solutions.
• Lead less complex installation and repair efforts with support from SPA’s End User Support Team.
• Local travel to regional offices to support installation and repair efforts including special events.
• Maintain room documentation to include user guides, service records and equipment/material inventories.
• Perform preventative maintenance and spot checks of conference room AV systems.
