Job summary

GCA, a Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned company, seeks an Audiovisual Systems Engineer to maintain and integrate AV systems in classrooms, conference rooms, and auditoriums. You will perform PMIs, update software/firmware, and provide end-user support in a government contracting setting.

The role requires 3+ years in AV design/installation, Crestron/Extron/AMX experience, and Crestron Toolbox proficiency, with CTS-D target and Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years in design, installation and maintenance of audiovisual (AV) systems.
Security clearance: Secret.
Avixa CTS certification, CTS-D within 90 days.
Experience with AV control systems (Crestron/Extron/AMX).
Experience using Crestron Toolbox and configuring Audio DSPs.

Responsibilities

Maintain AV systems including video conferencing, audio, and control systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve AV hardware/software issues.
Collaborate with AV team to integrate systems with networking and security.
Stay current with industry trends and recommend upgrades.
Conduct site surveys, create schematics, document AV system configurations.
Provide technical opinions and documentation for updates and expansions.
