Job summary

Entertainment Technology Partners in Orlando, FL, is seeking an experienced AV Design Engineer. You will translate client goals into integrated audiovisual designs and develop schematics, BOMs, wire lists, and network plans for complex installations.

The role covers design development, deployment, commissioning, and closeout, with collaboration across disciplines to ensure technical solutions meet project objectives and client expectations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in audiovisual integration engineering.
• Experience planning network topologies with VLANs, AVoIP systems, and unicast/multicast workflows.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and creating schematic drawings.
• Experience developing detailed bills of materials for audiovisual systems and peripherals.
• Knowledge across audio, video, lighting, LED technology, networking and control systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop System Designs by translating project requirements into integrated AV designs.
• Conceptualize equipment needs and technical solutions aligned with client goals.
• Participate in design discussions to support project development.
• Create Technical Documentation: system schematics, BOMs, wire lists, and cable schedules.
• Develop facility impact documentation to support installation and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance throughout design development, deployment, commissioning and closeout.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to keep designs aligned with project goals.
• Plan Integrated Technology Solutions incorporating audio, video, lighting, LED, control systems, and networking.
• Support network topology planning, VLANs and AVoIP workflows with unicast/multicast.
• Collaborate across disciplines with vendors and engineers and clearly communicate design intent.
