Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of audio-visual technology within the organization. This role ensures seamless AV setups, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with teams to deliver high-quality presentations and events.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience with audio-visual technology in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV equipment (sound systems, projectors, video conferencing, lighting).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in AV technology.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting complex AV systems and proper rack wiring.
  • Experience with major manufacturers including QSC, Crestron, Cisco, Microsoft, Biamp, and Poly.
  • Proficiency with computers and AV-related software (Crestron; MS Excel, Outlook, Project, Word).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems for meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Provide on-site support for flawless execution of events.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth experience for all users.
  • Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements as needed.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with conference service managers to understand AV requirements for various functions.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on the proper use of AV equipment and systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of equipment, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Work closely with IT, facilities, and other departments to integrate AV systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized AV projects.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience with audio visual technology, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment, including sound systems,projectors, video conferencing systems, and lighting.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in audio-visual technology.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting complex AV systems, as well as strong knowledge of properequipment rack wiring standards and event best practices.
  • Experience with major industry manufacturers including QSC, Crestron, Cisco, Microsoft, Biamp, and/orPoly.
  • General proficiency with computers and specialized software applications specific to the AV industry(i.e. Crestron; the use of programs such as MS Excel, Outlook, Project, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and otherstakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
