Job summary

Daisy is seeking a Service and Installation Technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot low-voltage integrated systems in residential and commercial locations in the greater Boston area and Cape Cod. You will read blueprints, support clients, and work with project teams while upholding Daisy's standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years AV/Networking experience, Control4 certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel is required and a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of AV/Networking /Technology Integration Experience.
• Control4 Certification.
• Motivated to learn new technologies and processes.
• Exhibits strong management and leadership skills; capable of leading and motivating others.
• Can pass a drug screen and background check.
• Possess a valid California driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle.
• Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and operational/product manuals.
• Manage all aspects of support including end-user training, troubleshooting, and follow through on escalation of issues.
• Collaborate on problem-solving in both installation standards and provide challenges and successes during weekly team meetings
• Travels to various job sites; uses hand and power tools safely; maintains company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicle
• In addition to clients, interact with builders and other industry professionals.
• Communicate every day with the project manager about the progress of the project
