Job summary

Rentex Computer & Audio Visual Rentals is hiring a Quality Control Technician for our Pompano Beach warehouse. The role focuses on QC procedures, ensuring returned gear is clean, functional, and ready for rental, with attention to detail.

You will inspect equipment, log issues, organize tested items, and assist other departments as needed, while meeting deadlines and maintaining safety in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school or GED.
• Experience with professional audio visual equipment and computer equipment.
• Basic understanding of inventory software for forecasting workload.
• Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures on returning equipment.
• Ensure all cases and equipment are presentable and in ideal working condition.
• Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items.
• Organize and store all tested equipment.
• Correctly process missing or damaged equipment.
• Be able to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs.
• Provide exceptional customer support for clients.
• Follow direction of the department leader and managers.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
