Rentex is seeking a Quality Control Technician for weekend shifts in a full-time capacity at our Pompano Beach, FL location. The role focuses on QC of returned AV equipment, ensuring items are in good condition and properly logged, with a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing items, organizing tested gear, and providing strong customer support while complying with safety and policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with professional audio visual equipment and computer equipment.
• Basic understanding of inventory software for forecasting workload.
• Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures on returning equipment.
• Ensure all cases and equipment are presentable and in ideal working condition.
• Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items.
• Organize and store all tested equipment.
• Correctly process missing or damaged equipment.
• Be able to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs.
• Provide exceptional customer support for clients.
• Follow direction of the department leader and managers.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
