Job summary

The City and County of Honolulu seeks an audio-visual specialist to deliver end-to-end AV services for the Prosecuting Attorney department, including planning, developing, and producing video and graphics for trials, training and community relations. You will operate and maintain AV equipment and advise on best practices for effective presentations.

Candidates should have a combination of education and two years of experience in AV production, with a Hawaii driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in speech communications, educational communications or a related field and two years of experience in audio-visual production and utilization.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-range audio-visual services for court trials, training, community relations and other purposes; plan, develop and produce video and graphics; operate and maintain equipment.
• Advise on proper use of AV equipment; manage assignments under time constraints; develop presentations and manage time efficiently.
