Job Title: AV Maintenance Technician

Location: Manhattan, NY (on-site)

Duration: Full-time

Pay Range: $33-38/hr. (negotiable based on experience)

Summary:

The AV Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces, as well as field installation and support of AV control programs.

Responsibilities:

1. Setup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs.
2. Perform preventative maintenance tasks including testing and repairing hardware components.
3. Clean AV equipment such as cameras, monitors, and fans.
4. Document job site activities and provide client training on AV technology.
5. Support tasks like meeting support, installing non-complex AV components, and recording support.
6. Adhere to local safety standards.
7. Setup, operate, and troubleshoot AV systems.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Microsoft Teams/Microsoft Teams Room ecosystem.
2. Experience with Microsoft Teams Admin Center, including building a Teams Room, Active Directory integration.
3. Proactive approach to creating processes and enhancing AV support.
4. Effective communication skills.
5. Ability to use hand and power tools safely, including soldering and crimping.
6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
7. Intermediate computer skills.
8. Basic knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, and control.
9. High School Diploma or equivalent.
10. 1-3 years of AV integration experience preferred.
