Job summary

Reporting to Learning Technology Services, the technician helps design AV systems, supports video resources, and contributes to AI-enabled instructional technologies while ensuring alignment with university standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Familiarity with emerging AV technology required.
  • Experience with presentation technology using control systems such as Crestron, Extron, and Q-SYS.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots AV, videoconferencing, and distance education systems in learning spaces.
  • Provide training on instructional technology applications and media hardware.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to plan and implement AV and AI-enabled instructional technologies.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating system resources, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Create and update instructional support documentation and materials.
