Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks an AV Technician to support instructional media needs and coordinate campus AV services. The role collaborates with staff and faculty, supports on-site and distance education, and drives technology upgrades for classrooms and conference spaces.

The position requires an Associate's degree in Graphics Technology or related field with two years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Graphics Technology or related field with two years of experience in visual communications/media technologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field is preferred and may substitute for experience.
• Strong knowledge of multimedia design, hardware, software, and video conferencing principles.

Responsabilités

• Provide support for Faculty Resource Center's computer stations and AV tech needs.
• Prepare annual instructional technology budget and coordinate with vendors for equipment.
• Support distance education connections and instructional materials production.
• Schedule and maintain AV equipment; train staff and student workers.
