Job summary

Argenta Solutions is seeking an AV Installation Technician to join our field team in Sandy, UT. You will handle low-voltage cabling, mount AV devices, and build equipment racks while ensuring high-quality installations.

The ideal candidate has construction site experience, can climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power and hand tools. A steady work history and high EQ are important to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites.
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools.
• Steady work history (3yrs between hops) and high EQ.
• Technically inclined and curious how things work.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading)
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices
• Advanced understanding of networks
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices
• Programming (a plus!)
• Client communication, support, and training

Reporting To: Carl, Production Manager

Compensation: $25.00 - $40.00 / hour

Description

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Location:

• 239 West 9000 South, Sandy, UT 84070

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) - We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Thurs from 7:30am-6pm
