NorthStar Home Technology is seeking an AV Installation Technician in Stillwater, MN. The role involves field work, installing low-voltage cabling, mounting devices, and configuring networked AV equipment.

Successful candidates will have construction-site experience, the ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and operate power and hand tools. A stable work history and high EQ are valued as part of our team culture.

• A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, high EQ.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices
• Advanced understanding of networks
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices

Compensation: $28.00 - $36.00 / hour

Job Description:

• Low-Voltage Installation Technician

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Location:

• Our Office: 5640 Memorial Ave N, Suite B/D Stillwater, MN 55082
• Projects are located in the surrounding area (w/ some travel work)

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri from 7:30am-4:30pm
