Job summary

Synergy Integrated Systems is seeking an AV Installation Technician to join our Raleigh field team. You will install and configure AV, lighting, networking, and security systems for homes and businesses, operating in-person at customer sites.

The role requires hands-on work with low-voltage cabling, device mounting, and network setup, with a four-day, 10-hour schedule and on-site location in Raleigh, NC. We offer full benefits, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) match after a year.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites and ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power and hand tools.
• 3+ years of steady work history with a focus on field-based installation roles.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and high emotional intelligence (EQ).

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron).
• Install and mount TVs, projection systems, video walls, audio, lighting, shading, and security devices.
• Build and lace equipment racks and perform setup/configuration of devices.
• Connect and configure control systems (Control4 a plus) and ensure network readiness.
• Troubleshoot devices and verify proper operation across systems.

Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 / year

Description

Synergy Integrated Systems is hiring a Low-Voltage Installation Technician to join our Raleigh field team, installing AV, lighting, networking, and security systems that make our clients' homes and businesses run smarter.

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Your Location:

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)

• Projects in surrounding area

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
• We work four 10 hour days
• Mon-Thurs 7:45am-6:15pm
