Job summary

Audio High is seeking a Senior Residential AV Technician to lead high-end AV projects from pre-wire through completion, based in Mountain View, CA. You will work in-person under project managers, owning your tasks from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years AV experience, hands-on field work, knowledge of Crestron/RTI/Lutron/URC, and willingness to climb ladders and handle tools. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

• Lighting/shades and programming experience (a plus!)

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-wire and rough-in work for AV, control, and network systems.
• Complete finish and trim-out work: terminate and label wiring, install devices, and build out equipment racks.
• Install and configure wired and wireless networks, including routers, switches, and access points.
• Test, commission, and document systems through punch-list completion.
• Troubleshoot and service AV systems, including service calls.
• Read blueprints and rack diagrams; configure equipment and devices.
• Keep project managers updated on progress and completion.

Senior Residential AV Technician

Department: Technician

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Mountain View, CA (Audio High)

Reporting To: Patrick, Project Manager

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 / year

We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to take high-end residential projects through to completion. You'll work under the direction of our project managers and own your assigned work from start to finish.

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)

Your Schedule:

• Full Time: 40 Hours Per Week
• Mon-Fri (7:30am-4:30pm)
