Job summary

cb20 is an award-winning provider of managed IT and audio-visual services, serving organizations across New York, Massachusetts, and the New England region. We seek an AV Low-Voltage Technician to install, test, label, and troubleshoot Audio Visual Systems under the guidance of our AV Field Engineer.

You will review floor plans, handle cable runs, terminations, and installs of displays, projectors, racks, and speakers while maintaining customer relations and site cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AV installation, troubleshooting and service experience.
• CTS certification preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
• Experience with AV industry software platforms.
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Pull low voltage cables (Cat5/5e/6/6a, HDMI, etc.).
• Perform field terminations (RJ45, DB9, XLR, 3.5 mm).
• Receive site deliveries and stage project materials for installation.
• Install displays, mounts, racks, ceiling projectors, screens, speakers, panels and more.
• Review floor plans and rack elevations to ensure correct installations.
• Submit daily reports outlining project status and work performed.
• Interface with customers on each job site with respect and integrity.
• Leave each job site clean and organized at the end of each day.
