Job summary

VectorUSA seeks an AV Field Technician I to support in-field installation of commercial A/V and VTC systems in customer environments. You will work alongside other technicians, install displays, projectors, speakers, and control systems, and read basic AV drawings with a focus on quality and safety.

The role emphasizes hands-on cable termination, equipment provisioning, and collaboration with site leads to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience installing commercial AV systems.
• Read basic AV engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience installing major AV products (Crestron/Extron/AMX).
• Experience with displays, speakers, projectors.

Responsibilities

• Pull and terminate A/V cables.
• Install commercial A/V systems and control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX).
• Install Videoconference (VTC) products (Polycom, Cisco, LifeSize).
• Read AV engineering drawings.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety on site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Lead or Superintendent.
