Conference Technologies is seeking an Audio Video Field Specialist for our New Jersey branch in Piscataway, NJ. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in commercial AV integration, commissioning, and service, with strong customer-service skills and a passion for technology.

Qualifications

• AV/IT Networking: Knowledge of the commercial audio-visual integration industry is a must. At least 4 years of experience with commercial integration audio-visual installations, commissioning, and service.
• Education: An associate degree is preferred, but not required. We take into account your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual.
• Customer Service Experience: A must! As you can see, our customers are #1, and we need someone who can take care of them and treat them as such.
• Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all systems are operating at optimum levels
• Work with Programmers as needed to load updated files
• Complete final product configuration, testing, and commissioning of system solutions
• Train end users on how to operate their AV solutions and do final product walk-throughs
• Lead/Assist with installations across multiple job sites
• Travel required, estimated 40% overnight travel - company paid
• Other tasks as assigned

• A competitive base salary of $75k-$100k+/yr (DOE).
