Job summary

Hargrove, Inc. is seeking a part-time Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems for hospitality events in Austin, TX. You will report to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include accurate setup, on-site client interaction, troubleshooting equipment and software, and Navigator entries. A High School Diploma is required; 1 year of customer service or AV experience preferred; valid driver’s license may

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
Must meet/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
Valid driver’s license required for team members operating company vehicles.
DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
Customer Service: exceed expectations, communicate with clients, and meet on-site needs.
Technical Ability: troubleshoot equipment and software issues as they arise.
Systems Knowledge: complete paperwork accurately and use Navigator for entries.
Increases revenue by up-selling when appropriate; assist with invoicing.
