Job summary

Encore Global seeks an Event Technology Intern to assist in the setup and operation of large- and small-scale audiovisual systems for live events, ensuring client satisfaction while gaining field experience. This role offers exposure to technical and sales support across field, hotel, or corporate sites.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BA/BS Degree; preference in Hospitality, Business, Media Production, Radio/TV/Film, or related field
• 0-6 months of field audio-visual or customer service experience
• Technical aptitude demonstrated through interest and exposure to new technology
• Ability to work at a hotel location within the major metro market you are applying for
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events
• Exceed internal and external customer expectations and maintain client relationships
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues in a timely manner
• Process orders and interact with staff and vendors, using Navigator system
• Assist in invoicing and up-selling opportunities with clients
