Job summary

Encore Global in Indianapolis is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution. You will work with events staff to ensure equipment functions properly and requirements are met.

The role requires a high school diploma, 60-day training/certification completion, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Hospitality or AV experience is preferred, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must complete all required training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal candidates must meet Encore Global certification requirements via the Learning Program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment per event needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and positive client relations on-site.
• Meet with guests to verify needs and test equipment functionality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
• Assist with invoicing and order entries in Navigator when needed.
