Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks an experienced AV engineer to design and deploy enterprise AV systems across business units, including hybrid and executive spaces. You will lead projects from planning through handover, coordinating vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and measurable business value.

Qualifications include 5+ years in AV/collaboration, proficiency with Teams/Zoom/PexIP, and strong IT/Networking basics. Prior experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Qualifications

• Design and implement AV systems for business units, including hybrid/executive spaces.
• Strong project delivery skills with multiple concurrent AV deployments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, PexIP, and multi-platform interoperability.
• Familiarity with AV-over-IP, NDI, Dante, VLANs, QoS, and networking basics.
• Hands-on with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron) and room scheduling (EMS, FreeSpace).
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Industry CTS/CTS-D or related certifications (MS Teams Rooms, Zoom integrator, Crestron/Extron).
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, government, healthcare).
• Strong vendor management and coordination with external partners.
• Familiarity with digital signage, event production tech, or enterprise broadcast.
• Background in automation, scripting, or DevOps for AV deployment/monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AV and collaboration systems for business units, including MTR/Zoom Rooms.
• Support project rollouts for conference rooms, huddle spaces, events, and hybrid setups.
• Configure and maintain conferencing systems (G7500, Studio X, RealPresence, Trio) and Barco ClickShare.
• Integrate AV-over-IP, NDI, Dante, VLANs, QoS into enterprise ecosystems.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support during deployments with technical guidance.
• Partner with units to tailor AV solutions to their needs.
• Manage end-to-end deployments: planning, implementation, testing, handover.
• Coordinate vendor resources and oversee installation, commissioning, acceptance testing.
• Track/report project progress, risks, dependencies to leadership.
• Ensure deployments meet enterprise architecture, compliance, security requirements.
• Maintain design docs, SOPs, and audit-ready inventories.
• Collaborate with compliance/governance for regulated environments.
• Train operations teams on new technologies to ensure adoption.
• Monitor system health with Vyopta/Vantage to optimize room performance.

• Design and deploy AV and collaboration systems for business units, including Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Zoom Rooms, and PexIP/CVI interoperability gateways.
• Support project rollouts for new conference rooms, huddle spaces, event areas, and hybrid collaboration setups.
• Configure and maintain HP/Poly conferencing systems (G7500, Studio X, RealPresence, Trio) and Barco ClickShare devices.
• Integrate AV-over-IP, NDI, Dante, VLANs, QoS, and other networking principles into enterprise AV ecosystems.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support during project deployments, ensuring business units receive timely issue resolution and technical guidance.
• Partner with business units to understand requirements and deliver AV/collaboration solutions tailored to their needs.
• Manage end-to-end project deployments, including planning, implementation, testing, and handover to operations teams.
• Coordinate vendor resources and oversee installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of AV systems.
• Track and report project progress, risks, and dependencies to business and IT leadership.
• Ensure that deployments align with enterprise architecture standards and deliver measurable business value.
• Ensure that deployed solutions adhere to compliance, data retention, and security requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, including designs, SOPs, and audit-ready system inventories.

• Train and support business unit teams on new AV/collaboration technologies to ensure smooth adoption.
• Use analytics platforms (Vyopta, Vantage) to monitor system health and optimize room performance.
• Deliver post-deployment feedback loops with business units to measure adoption, satisfaction, and improvement opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with IT, Operations, Facilities, and vendor partners to ensure aligned project delivery.
• Act as the technical point of contact during high-profile project deployments and business-critical events.
• Mentor operations and support staff on newly deployed technologies and best practices.
• Explore opportunities to automate deployments and system monitoring with scripting (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs).
• Stay updated on AV, collaboration, and hybrid meeting innovations, recommending new solutions for business needs.
• Contribute to enterprise strategy by identifying future trends in AV and digital collaboration.
• 5+ years of experience in AV engineering, collaboration infrastructure, or enterprise technology project delivery.
• Proven ability to design and implement AV systems for business units, including hybrid and executive spaces.
• Strong project delivery skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent AV deployments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, PexIP, and multi-platform interoperability.
