Job summary

DSI Tech is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Design Engineer to join our expanding AV team in Ashburn, VA. You will plan, design, and implement innovative AV solutions across diverse projects, collaborating with multiple departments to ensure seamless integration and high-quality outcomes.

The role is primarily in-office, with travel up to 50% and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of AV engineer experience.
• Proficiency with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• AutoCAD and/or Visio drawing capabilities; DSP programming and gain structure; Crestron and Extron nomenclature.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AV design packages and BOMs for internal review.
• Create floor plan diagrams, room and rack elevations, and system schematics.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and colleagues to design and implement AV systems.
• Provide program reports to analyze capabilities and meet user requirements.
• Maintain technical expertise across AV networks, hardware, software, and control systems.
